My experience
I travelled in Georgia and Armenia in 2020 after years of hitchhiking in Europe. Georgia is known for mountain villages, stone tower houses in Svaneti, wine cellars and long supra feasts with endless toasts.
The classic multi-day trek in Svaneti runs from Mestia to Ushguli through villages of stone towers, about 55 km in four days.
